IT STARTED WITH EXPOSING A FRAME TWICE (DOUBLE EXPOSURE) THEN EXPERIMENTING WITH MORE AND MORE EXPOSURES. ALL OF THESE PHOTOS WERE SHOT ON EITHER KODAK OR FUJI 120 FILM OF DIFFERENT SPEEDS. THE ARTIST DID NOT USE ANY FILTERS OR PHOTOSHOP TO CREATE THESE IMAGES. THE CONCEPT STARTS WITH AN IDEA, A ROUGH IS SKETCHED OUT ON PAPER, THEN BASIC MATH IS USED TO COME UP WITH THE COMPENSATION FOR THE EXPOSURE. THE ARTIST AVERAGES 2 USEABLE PHOTOS PER ROLL OF FILM (15 SHOTS.) THE BOARDS WERE PROVIDED BY THE CALIFORNIA SURF MUSEUM IN OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA WHERE THEY REMAIN ON DISPLAY FOR THE PUBLIC TO VIEW.
